It's taken me about 2 years of e-bay, estate sales, auction searching and word of mouth to acquire all the pieces. All the serial numbers are from '73-'74 era. The only modification on this set is an L arm mount bracket was installed on the 10" concert tom in place of the clip mount so I could mount it on the same stand as the 12" tom. The new bracket completely covers the hole for the old mount. Some of the stands are Atlas, some are not. All cymbals are Zildjian, most are A Customs. Drums are as close to flawless as possible. No cracks, dings or noticeable scratches anywhere. When I play live, I do not haul this behemoth to the gigs, just a 4 or 5 piece version. I'm too old to be lugging all this equipment around. Been there, done that. I've been playing the club circuit for about 20 years and have been drumming for about 34 years. Anyone out there have a 24" red Vista kick drum I could buy? That would be the final crowning addition. Love the site, keep up the good work. Ludwig rules!
